THE EUGENE ATWOOD FUND
DIRECTOR/ADMINISTRATOR
STACEY HASKELL
Stacey has been the Director/Administrator of the Eugene Atwood Fund since 2015 overseeing full operations of the foundation. Under her leadership, the Fund has gone from a paper application system to an online application system and has seen a substantial yearly increase in return on student loan repayments. She has also helped to support the addition of the Trade/Tech Committee and their mission to support students looking to obtain certification/licensing or to attend trade/tech school. Since 2017, She has also been employed by the Town of Stonington as the Executive Assistant to the First Selectman serving a municipality of 18,000 residents.
An avid volunteer, Stacey has been the lead on the Stonington Veterans Monument Project from 2020-present helping to raise over $200,000 with a goal of completing the monument in 2023. As the event/fundraising coordinator for the North Stonington Elementary School Drama Club for five years she raised over $15,000 to support their annual productions. She was a member of the YMCA’s Annual giving fund between 2014-2021 as a team leader for four years, team captain for four years and chairperson for one year.
