Annual Award Recipients Announced

The Eugene Atwood Fund is pleased to announce recipients of their annual Eugene Atwood Award and Recognition Award. Yearly, principals from the each of the nineteen New London County high schools can nominate a student in their senior year for the award who they feel most closely aligns with the mission of the fund.     
 
The Board of Trustees at their meeting in April reviewed nominations and voted to award a total of $25,000 to the following students:

  • Keren Gabriel - Science and Technology Magnet High School
  • Katerina Petrosky - The Williams School

Conflict of Interest Policy

A conflict of interest policy is intended to help ensure that when actual or potential conflicts of interest arise, the organization has a process in place under which the affected individual will advise the governing body about all the relevant facts concerning the situation.  Our conflict of interest policy is also intended to establish procedures under which individuals who have a potential conflict of interest will be excused from voting on such matters.

No governing members of  The Eugene Atwood Fund Board receive any compensation nor financially benefits from the organization.
